Excitement is building up. I grinded down the candy layer of one cover, then resprayed it using ordinary silver spray can wheel paint, a few careful layers. I will try this on one cover before I mess up the other one.
This is how the cover looks at this stage :
Not bad at all so far. Next stage will be mixing an adequate amount of Candy
Jackal Blue with thinner and using a pressure gun for applying it. Anything from a perfect finish to a totally
wrinkled up and destroyed surface is possible. We will see what happens.
If it didn't fail at that stage, the clearcoat spraycan product I will apply next could be what destroys all
work so far.
