With minor exceptions little or no parts for old Opel cars are available from official GM/Opel distributors unless the particular dealer also specializes in classic car parts.
As far as I know GM/Opel has a general policy not to maintain a stock of parts for cars older than 10 years.
So many GM/Opel dealers will probably look at you as if you come from the planet Mars if you ask for parts for an older car. But some dealers may maintain so called interim lists of parts cleared from stock but still available. Ask and you may find.
An advice is to contact a Opel club in your country. They have contacts with people who are able to find parts and many members are typically experts on various models and might carry own stocks of parts for their model or have knowledge of where to locate parts.
Typically the sources for parts are :
It is always valuable for you to own a copy of the original spare parts catalogue for your car if you need to inquire about the availability of parts/price. If you can quote the part numbers it is much easier for the dealer to search for a part, the larger dealers often have a computerized stock. Quoting a part number reduces the possibility of misunderstanding what you really want.
Prices vary between dealers, also the quality of the parts in stock and the quality of customer responsiveness
and attitude. Some may quote a part as new although it might be affected by corrosion or other ageing, it has happened
to me more than once. You and the dealer can have different opinions about the acceptable condition of what can
be called a new part for a 30 year old vehicle.
Best is of course if you can shop directly at the location so you see what you get.
Remember to inquire about the condition of a part if this is especially important to you. Once you have
accepted delivery of a heavy piece of sheet metal across the globe it may prove to be bad economy to return a rusty
dented part. You may instead have to spend numerous hours restoring it to useable condition, so take care, and
check with more than one dealer in case many can deliver the same part. Also, it is typically not a good deal to
split up an order of parts between many dealers just because one happens to sell some parts a few marks cheaper,
because then you will get multiple freight costs. Usually it is a good idea to shop around to get a picture of
the price level of parts, but the dealer offering the lowest price is not always delivering the most top condition
part, so again, remember to ask questions about the condition of offered parts.
If you live outside Germany and buy from a German company, a practice which works well is to inquire by fax. You send a fax with a list of the parts you are looking for, the dealer checks if he can deliver the parts, a custom is that they adds notes about availability and price directly on your original fax and then fax it back to you. The advantages are :
